3. Međunarodni online festival dramskog izražavanja održat će se od 3. do 6.6.2024. Podijelit ćemo s vama primjere korištenja dramskih metoda i tehnika kao alata za učenje i inkluziju. Sve aktivnosti su besplatne te se odvijaju na engleskom jeziku! Nadamo se da ćete nam se pridružiti!

3.6.2024 @ 16:00 – Virtual Prison
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Amila Beširović, YOUTH THEATRE TUZLA
After getting introduced with the topic, workshop leader and reasons for dealing with the topic of safe use of the Internet, participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other and introduce themselves. Using the film as a medium to point out the problem in the community, the film “Virtual Prison”,  produced by the Association „Youth of Tuzla” and the Youth Theater Tuzla,  will be shown. After the shown film, the participants will have tasks to work on in groups that are inspired by the content they watched. The goal of the workshop is for the participants to come to an understanding of the reasons for the excessive use of the Internet by children and young people, ways to recognize the signs of addiction, and to give guidelines and suggestions from their point of view so that the problem of Internet addiction can be solved or redirected to the time that young people can spend usefully using the internet and its good sides.

3.6.2024 @ 18:30 – Sign Language as a Bridge of Understanding

Workshop starts with informations about our institution. Foundation date of our institution, process of development , what we are now and what we are planning to be. After the introductory part, an expert in the field of hearing loss will introduce participants  about hearing impairment and methods of working with kids with hearing impairment in our institution. Introduction to  sign language: basic information about sign language, characteristics, differences and similarity between languages, implementation of sign language in education toward better understanding. The main part of this workshop will be demonstration of Sign language interpreter,  who  will hold a workshop , where the participants will learn basic signs for everyday communication.  Workshop will be interactive  with active involvement of all participants . After that,  hearing impaired person will join us , and participants will try to communicate with him  using previously learned signs.

4.6.2024 @ 16:00 – WildWildWeb
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leaders: Maja Sviben and Nina Horvat, TEATAR TIRENA
The workshop is envisaged as an exploration of the problematic content the social networks offer on a daily basis. Through distancing which provides the participants with the option of creating a fictional world in which they can safely play with inappropriate messages, we aim to encourage them in approaching their everyday immersion into the digital realm with a grain of salt. Aimed at youth leaders, as well as other educators or young people themselves, the workshop’s goal is to enhance critical thinking skills and give insight into the construction of questionable spaces and narratives.

4.6.2024 @ 18:30 – Digital Diet – drama method for teachers/youth workers
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Sanja Krnjajić, DP EKO ART
Workshop designed to offer creative, drama education based activities for teachers/youth workers/youth that can be used in everyday work or when specifically targeting issue of overuse of digital technology with children and youth, within or outside of regular curricula/program of work. The workshop, although tailored for an online environment, also offers practical examples and tips how it can easily be adapted for in-person work. In the end, participants will be empowered/enabled to lead/create various workshops with children, youth, educators, caretakers, parents tackling the daily struggles with overuse of screens, providing ideas on how we all can take part in reducing online time and increase quality time.

5.6.2024 @ 16:00 – Virtual Communities – The joys and risks of online spaces
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Rok Gumzej, LOGOUT
We will look at various online environments in which today’s youth spend their time. Through examples, we will illustrate why these environments are important to young people and what they are really seeking in them. We also present risky behaviors that these environments can entail. Throughout the lecture, we debunk or confirm myths about online spaces for a better understanding of today’s adolescents.

5.6.2024 @ 18:30 – Hate speech in media
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Brano Mandić, PRAZAN PROSTOR
Questions we want to raise:
What is hate speech?
Where does freedom of speech end, and where does a misdemeanor or criminality begin deed?
Why is freedom of speech restricted?
How are punishment policies shaped hate speech in the media?
What is the difference between value attitude, blasphemy, insults and hate speech.
How to recognize hate speech on social networks and how to deal with it with him.
Information that needs to be shared.
Definition of hate speech.
Overview of laws and regulations dealing with hate speech.
An overview of institutions aimed at controlling public discourse.
Media self-regulation and ways to report hate speech.
Introduction to journalistic ethics in journalistic code.
How to display/transmit information. 
The workshop consists of several educational modules that combine the theoretical study of problems and its practical analysis through examples. In addition to the classic ex cathedra teaching, interactive work in groups, simulation of examples from everyday life, cut-paste method, dramatic simulation, review and analysis of media content, as well as status are used published on social networks.

6.6.2024 @ 16:00 – Mirror, Mirror on Wall
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Valentina Korbar, TAKATUKAExploring Body Image: A Drama Workshop on Social Media’s Influence” invites participants to engage in drama techniques to understand how social media impacts young people’s perceptions of their bodies. Through role-play and interactive activities, attendees immerse themselves in various online situations, gaining insight into the effects of social media on self-esteem.

6. 6. 2024 @ 18:30 – Happily Ever Usher
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop leader: Chen Kroter, NALAGAAT
Usher syndrome is an extremely rare genetic disorder caused by a mutation in any one of at least 11 genes resulting in a combination of hearing loss and visual impairment. It is a leading cause of deaf-blindness and is at present incurable. This powerful workshop is conducted by Chen Kroter, who was born deaf and at age 21 was diagnosed with Usher syndrome. Using Chen’s personal story special equipment, the workshop simulates the experience of deaf-blind individuals.
