JOSIP HADŽI-BOŠKOV

Born in 1990 in Zagreb, where he graduated from elementary and secondary school and college. He has a master’s degree in nutritional sciences, but his great love and essential interest is stage art and theatre pedagogy. Since 2009 he has been working as a drama pedagogue in the Tirena Theatre Drama Studio. 

He was also a student of the Tirena Theatre Drama Studio from 2001 to 2009. During this time, he attended additional voice and mime workshops and performed in numerous productions. In 2005, he participated in the international youth camp in Helsinki, Finland, organised by Annantalo Arts Centre on the theme of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

He trained in drama and theatre pedagogy and continues to train regularly at numerous workshops in the country and abroad. In 2013, he participated in the Young IDEA project in Paris, France, during which he also attended the 8th World Congress of Drama and Theatre Pedagogy IDEA. In the same year he participated in the workshop of the meeting of Theatre Integrates People (International summer theatre workshops) in Izola, Slovenia, and in 2017 and 2018 in the scientific-artistic symposium of theatre pedagogues at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Teacher Education.

At the Tirena Theatre he performed as an amateur actor in the play The Importance of Being Earnest and in the interactive performances Too/Great Expectations and 2042 – Understanding Against Violence.
