Maja Jukić is a professor of Croatian language and philosophy. She is currently teaching Croatian language at a school for foreigners. She was born in 1990 in Zagreb, where she attended primary and secondary school. During primary and secondary school, she also attended the music school for piano.
She graduated in Croatian Studies and Philosophy at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb and participated in various projects during her studies (the project “100 years of Glembay’s”, which was awarded the Special Rector’s Prize in the academic year 2012/2013, the project “Yorick’s Mirror”, the project “Čehov and Beckett – Waiting” under the mentorship of the critic and dramaturge Mira Muhoberac).
In 2020, she enrolled in the specialized studies of theater pedagogy. During her studies, she participated in the RUR project as an artistic-pedagogical assistant to theater pedagogue Jadranka Korda at the Zagreb Youth Theatre. She works as a drama pedagogue at the Tirena Theater.
