“Rebellion of Characters” is the fourth anthology of plays in the Tirena Library, which includes 12 contemporary texts dealing with various themes. The anthology is about fairy tale characters who want to rebel, a ball of wool that decided to twist, feelings that try to live in harmony with each other, penguins that travel around the world, a student who is ready to die for art, teenagers who grow up and face different problems, secret agents and much, much more.
Tirena Library editors Ines Škuflić-Horvat, Maja Sviben and Nina Horvat have compiled a new anthology of plays because of the chronic lack of contemporary drama texts for children and teenagers. As with the previous anthologies, most of the plays were created from improvisations performed by the drama educators with their drama groups and then staged in those drama groups!
The anthology “Rebellion of Characters” contains 12 texts:
