The ACIIS project – Academy for Creative, Innovative and Inclusive Schools aims to establish a network of teacher trainers operating at both pre-service and in-service levels. Collaborating closely with schools that promote innovative teaching methods, the aim is to foster support in education and development of all children by using drama techniques and drama digital tools to create an inclusive classroom.
Through various activities such as innovation camps, blended trainings, workshops, etc., around 150 teachers and teacher trainers will take part in developing, testing, learning and training-to-train the usage of new teaching strategies/resources and ICT drama tools.
The consortium is comprised of partner organisations coming from 5 countries (Poland – Innocamp, Austria – Paedagogische Hochschule Wien; Slovenia – Taka Tuka, Univerza na Primorskem, Univerza v Ljubljani, Javni sklad RS za kulturne dejavnosti, Zavod sv. Stanislava; Italy – Isituto Comprensivo W.A.Mozart and Croatia – Teatar Tirena, Sveučilište u Zagrebu, Škola za odgoj i obrazovanje Pula) that will be working together on sharing good practice examples, working with the representatives of public authorities on defining the challenges of inclusive education and preparing a policy brief designed to offer recommendations for educational policy changes.
